Let’s see maybe when rounding third the runner have to put his right arm up , ( left arm up runner is automatically out) to indicate the runner is going to attempt to force ball from catcher or runner will slide around tag. Or if runner has rounded third and catcher does not have the ball in glove there can be not tag applied runner automatically safe. Or how about changing to the force out rule, if catcher caught the ball before runner gets to plate no tag necessary catcher steps on the plate. We can go on and on with scenarios, Wow sounds Pretty Ridiculous huh. Let’s just play ball and take a deep breathe and understand that baseball can be a dangerous sport at times. I think this is just a reaction of the Giants fans bright eyed dazing hang over from winning the World series after many many years of trying.
As most of us that have play baseball or sports you understand that baseball like most sports requires split decisions. Look at it this way sometimes in sports it is very hard to intently hurt someone. Most times when some one gets hurt it’s from a unpredictable positioning of the body on impact to ground, objects or another persons at high speeds.
I say as a Giants fan let just say God speed to you B. P. and let’s proceed on to the quest of Bring the city another Championship. Lets just agree that this is one of those sports moments that no baseball fan or player wants to see happen to a player like that or any player. Especially after all the success this player have had early in his career and a bright future.
This will brings the team even closer together and everybody need to turn it up one more level. We know this team never will quit, and there's still a long ways to go. Now that it have been two weeks there has been reports of B.P. in the club house at home games for moral support. The Giants are still in first place and team is the reigning champs. So even with a solider down, they'll focus on baseball, and settle back into that focus mode, eyes on the prize.
